- Display flowers in a cool, draft-free location.
- Keep flowers away from direct sun and heat exposure, such as windows, candles, fireplaces, and heated appliances.
- Clean your flower vase thoroughly before putting your flowers in to prevent bacterial growth (for hand bouquets).
- Fill the vase with at least ⅔ water sufficient to cover the stems. Replace water in your flower vase every day.
- Remove wilting petals and leaves under water as soon as you see them.
- Trim the stems diagonally for half an inch using a clean pair of scissors under running water every few days.
- Keep flowers away from ripening fruit, which can cause it to wilt faster.
