A rare orchid beauty, this is the Dendrochilum magnum, which hails from the tropical islands of the Philippines. The American Orchid Society (AOS) calls it “the king of its fine genus.” It features chain-like clusters of yellow orchid blooms and long, green leaves. This orchid arrangement is presented in a stylish glass jar filled with natural pebbles for ground cover and lined with brown and yellow midollino wires for a colorful touch. It is a precious orchid plant that deserves a spot in your growing orchid collection.

- Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the flowers and leaves. Display your orchid near a window with bright, indirect light and sheer curtains.
- Use at least three spoonfuls (or ice cubes) of water to water large orchid arrangements every 10 days, and 6 days for smaller orchid plants.
- Never let your orchids sit in water. Let the potting mix dry out slightly between waterings.
- Water your orchids only in the morning to give the leaves an ample amount of time to dry out before temperatures drop in the evening.
- Orchids love humidity. Mist the plant occasionally or place the pot on a tray filled with pebbles and water.
- Maintain ideal temperatures between 65-85°F (18-30°C) during the day and 55-65°F (13-18°C) at night.
