Despite its tropical origin, Crotons can adapt as a houseplant. It prefers a bright and sunny location to maintain the vibrancy of its foliage. Inadequate sun exposure may turn the leaves droopy and dull. When you bring it home, choose a perfect sunny spot and do not move it to another location for weeks to prevent shocking the plant. Water in the morning when the soil is completely dry. Croton plants love moist, but not soggy soil.
